They prescribed it about a week and a half ago and we *just* got it. I don't know what the problem was. First insurance didn't want to pay. Then we finally got it approved but they didn't want to pay for the 30ml bottle of it that it comes in. So the pharmacy said they'd have to order tablets and make her a smaller bottle. In the end we got a 30ml bottle. WTF?
Anyway, it worked immediately! She slept really well last night and she was like a different child today! She had a little bit of a fussy period before her nap, but the rest of the day she was just soooo chilled and relaxed and happy. Like she used to be.
The only thing I'm not thrilled about is it kind of loops her out. It's really cute to see her grinnig like a fool at *everything* but it almost seems wrong to dope up my baby. But she might get used to it and not do that after a while so we'll see. At least she's not in pain and I'm not giving her tylenol and motrin around the clock!
Oh and it does make her breathe a little funny too, but she doesn't need more oxygen than normal so that's good.
Sleeping VERY well earlier today:
