Forgot to mention....

Charlie hit Adrian with a stick yesterday. Yes, you heard me right! She got "rhythm sticks" for her birthday...basically just two bright, red sticks you bang together to music. Anyway, I had her on the floor and put one of them in her hand. She doesn't have a very good grip, but yesterday she managed to hang on for a little while. And every once in a while she would wave the stick around a little and smile. Then Adrian came over and sat beside her and she very purposefully swung it out and hit him! Of course, she hit him with about the force of a fly landing on him, but it was still kind of cool. If she ever gets stronger I might just have to tell her "no" to something!
