This page is for my daughter, Charlie. She suffered an HIE event in utero which damaged her brain significantly. She has cerebral palsy, seizures, a feeding tube, and many other medical issues. I like to keep everyone updated about medical appointments and I post as many pictures as I can. My goal is to show everyone that even a child who will likely never speak or walk or do anything "typical" kids do, is an absolute joy and has a special place in this crazy world.
Adrian is 7 years old and is a great big brother. He knows how to work all of my medical equipment and helps Mom out a lot. He's still not allowed to touch my meds though! He's a little jealous of me sometimes, but mostly he's very sweet and nice. He plays with me and cuddles with me when I'm tired. He's always gentle and has never tried to feed me anything except that one time when I was 2 months old and he stuck a chicken nugget in my mouth!
He's grown up so much that Mom trusts him to push me in my wheelchair. It gives her a little heart attack when he spins me in circles but I just laugh and laugh! I like to watch him play his DS and even just watch him build with Legos. He's so much fun!

LOL...how very "typical" of her. My 4 year old amazes me by taking up a whole queen sized bed--all by himself.
Glad to see that she having a good day in with all the cruddy ones.
LOL at the pictures. My two little ones can take up my entire king sized bed.
Love that smile!
Aw, beautiful smile!
