Here are the pictures that show how Charlie's smiles progressed. I know a lot of people probably think I focus way too much on this, but unless you have a child like Charlie, you cannot understand how much a simple smile means. Every smile reminds me that she's happy. Every smile reminds me that she's "there". Every smile helps me forget all the bad stuff. So enjoy! And be thankful for your little one's smiles because it is something a lot of people take for granted. 3 months: Only smiles occasionally during sleep.
4.5 months: Very occasionally smiles while awake. We saw maybe 2 or 3 a month (at most) at this point.
8 months: Getting more consistent and her smiles are getting more symmetrical and bigger.
10 months: A little smirk. It's still hard to catch her smiles on camera because she doesn't hold them for very long. You have to be quick!
Almost 11 months: She's smiling almost every day now and she smiles so big her teeth show! I don't have to work so hard to get a smile from her. This particular day, she was so smiley all I had to do was kiss her on her cheek and she grinned.
