Who's out there?

I'm very curious about all of you that read Charlie's blog. I know she has some "fans" and a few people who leave comments regularly. What about the rest of you? I'm a member at a few message boards and several times a month I get PMs from people saying they love our blog and read it all the time. Sometimes I'll mention something about Charlie in a post and someone will say, "You're Charlie's mom!? I'm a huge fan!". I'm usually not aware that these people are readers so it always makes my day to know that Charlie's story is reaching people besides my closest friends and family.

If you read, even if only occasionally, would you mind leaving a comment telling me who you are and how you found our blog? Pretty please? :-D I'd love to get to know some of the "regulars" around here.

I'm Sarah...I found Charlie's blog from Ava's blog. My oldest (14) has an autism spectrum diagnosis, and we think he might be bi-polar too. My youngest (4) had a thigh fracture at 19 months old, and has verbal apraxia.

I'm Michelle - I linked to your blog once from MDC ages ago and have kept following your blog. I was told about your blog from another parent on PTP. My son is 15 months and has many similarities to your beautiful daughter Charlie. He has an anoxic brain injury, cp, microcephaly, larygal and tracheal malacia, Gerd, obstructive apnea, seizures, G-tube and some signs of autonomic disorder. I notice you still have her rear facing in the car seat. I am trying to keep him rear facing as long as possible, however due to his high tone I am having a hard time with his legs. He already hates the car seat but this seems to be the saest way for him. He is 30 pounds (I know he's huge) and at last appointment they said he was 30'' although I don't think he was stretched enough.
I would appreciate any ideas you might have.

I read, although not regularaly anymore because my computer time is very limited (5 kids.) I can't remember how I found your blog, but it's been over a eyar since I started reading. I have a daughter who is almost the same age as Charlie and I love seeing how they do a lot of the same things. Even though Charlie does it a little bit differently, in so many ways she's just a regular two year old.
