I'm so proud!

Charlie is normally a very inactive baby. She *can* move but when she does, it's like she's underwater.. .very sluggish and she can't quite do what she wants to. Like if she tries to bring her hand to her mouth, she usually misses and hits herself in the head.

So last, last thursday we had to take her to the ER. Turns out she had pnemonia, but we caught it early, so all is good. They put in an IV and had to splint her arm because she was trying to fight it. But she managed to work her way out of the splint 3 times! She would pretty much just move her arm back and forth and turn her wrist in so she could pull her hand through the gaps in the guaze. The second night, the nurse found a bigger splint and sturdier gauze. LOL

Then 2 days ago we had a a sleep study at children's and of course, they put tons of stuff on then...32 electrodes, all sorts of sensors. She managed to rip the stuff off her face before she went to sleep. I just put it back on and all was good. Then in the middle of the night, the nurse comes in and starts fiddling around. I woke up and she said, "it's ok, I just have to put this stuff back on her. She took everything off her face and managed to snap a wire in half!"

It seems Miss Charlie can do what she wants when she's really motivated. LOL
