No more phenobarb!!!

She got her last dose last night. I just about made one up tonight when I remembered she didn't need it anymore. :-D She was down to .25mls so I don't see her having any issues with the complete wean. We've been trying since January to get her off of it. So....finally! Yay!

Our next goal is to get her klonipin back to 3 times a day. That's what they originally wanted, but I pushed for 4 times a day because one dose just wasn't lasting 8 hours and it was somewhat effective for the jerking. They agreed that since she was on phenobarb, which speeds things through the system, that she could have it 4 times a day. So now that the jerking is under control, and she's off the phenobarb, we are going to try backing off a bit. It will make her med schedule a bit less complicated and make it to where I don't have to get up in the middle of the night to do meds.

After that, we will proably try decreasing the oxycodone a bit more. Ultimately, I would like to have some wiggle room so that if (or when) she starts jerking again, we can medicate her for it. If we can wean her off some of these without the jerking coming back, then if it comes back later she won't already be on max dosages. Hope that makes sense.
